A Garment A Week – Week 51 – 23/12/16

I’m finally getting around to uploading the last few weeks!
Here’s the make from the week before Christmas. A raglan cut Tshirt top for Miss Lily with stretch knit lining and bands, in Christmas red.

The sleeve sections are unlined, just straight sheer chiffon. The sleeves hemmed with a small roll edge.
The neck bound with the knit fabric. And the lower edge connecting the layers of chiffon and knit is a wider band of the knit.
I think I should have made a knit singlet and a separate chiffon raglan top. But as a working idea it kinda worked lol. Lily wore it Christmas Day   If I’d had more time that week I’d have remade or recut but unfortunately I didn’t.
I have the dress I made for week 52 still waiting to be photographed, I promise I will get it done this week! And get things uploaded to the blog – time to get back in the swing and back on top of things!
